Pumpkin Patches!!

Last weekend Mark went hunting, so the kids and I went to Tyler. We hit up 2 pumpkin patches and had a WONDERFUL time at both! They were both very different, so it was super fun!

This one was our Saturday adventure in Bullard! Several friends from Longview were already planning on coming, so it worked out great that it is somewhat close to my parents house! The kids had so much fun with all of it...feeding goats/cornbox/hayride/picking pumpkins/corn maze and chasing chickens!






Our Sunday adventure was the pumpkin patch in Canton! It was super fun and very different from the running chickens and goats. There were all kind of carnival type rides, a huge slide, pony rides, hayride, face painting and a playground! It was a huge hit with my two! The pony rides were the favorite!







My dad took some pictures with his super nice camera...those to come soon!! Blogger isn't cooperating anymore tonight!

Children's Park in Tyler

A few weeks ago we went to my parent's house in Tyler and at a children's park there they were having a "Teddy Bear Picnic". It had lots of activities to do and the kids loved it!! Here are just some pictures of them playing in the water. They were completely drenched when we left...it was super fun and well worth the dirty, wet clothes!


This was the favorite thing to do. They were looking for "jewels". The people that were having the activity day for everyone had put those "jewels" in the creeks and waterfalls for the kids to find. You know, the ones that you see in vases with flowers or in fish tanks!! We came home with pocketfuls!!









It has tons of great picture spots...I would highly recommend it for family pictures (or Christmas cards...which is what I hope to do)

I promise he went straight to the trucks and cars, but by the time I got my camera back out...dollhouse!! :)

New Do

Well, apparently when Mallory wants to play "haircut" with her friends, she is convincing!! A while back when she and another friend played, Mallory ended up with lots less hair than when we went!! Well, she decided to play again with a different friend...but thankfully we caught them after only one snip and it wasn't bad at all!! I won't tell any names...but I have to show the pictures because they are so cute!! I went ahead and had "the stylist's" mom give Mallory her official first REAL haircut to even everything up!! She did a great job and I love it!! I hate that i didn't get a picture from the back after she was done, but just know it looks great!
